Intergenerational Connection

Together with MUS-E artists Rasa Alksnyte (de Ambulanten) and Maaike Devreese, I bring children and older people into contact with one another. These intercreation trajectories give rise to heartwarming exchanges. Residents and children work in a multidisciplinary way, with activities ranging from making collages, to working with textiles, to writing poetry.



Residency at the Care Home

Within this project, I also get the chance to do a week-long residency at the care home. Moving to the rhythm of the house, I make my way through the institution to talk with residents and caregivers. This gives me a picture of the life that unfolds there. I stay in the reminiscence room, which I set up as a photo studio. There, I make portraits, which you can view here.

Space for Vulnerability
This experience raises essential questions in me. What is it like to live in the final phase of life? Can we embrace each other's vulnerability, human to human, in full presence? Questions that move me and help shape the direction of my artistic work.

Exhibition
The exhibition featuring work by all participants runs at Clos Bizet until March 26, 2025.
